Do You Have to Say the Same Affirmations Everyday?

Affirmations are positive statements that you say to yourself repeatedly to manifest a change or transform your mindset. They can be about anything you want- from losing weight, manifesting a romantic relationship, and even finding your dream job. The idea is that by repeating the affirmation enough times, you will start to believe it and, as a result, will start to see changes in your life.

To increase the likelihood of your affirmations working, you need to say the same affirmations multiple times each day, preferably first thing in the morning and last thing before bed. Repeat your affirmations every day until you create the mindset shift or manifest your desire. 

You need to say your affirmations every day because you need to ingrain them into your subconscious mind. The more often you say them, the more likely you are to start believing them and, as a consequence, begin noticing shifts in your life. So yes, you have to say the same affirmations every day to see quicker results. 

However, you want to limit the amount of affirmation you use to around 12-15. This is a manageable amount, and it’s more likely your subconscious mind will accept those affirmations. When you have too many affirmations, your subconscious doesn’t know what to focus on the most, so the affirmations don’t influence the mind.

Similarly, if you have too many affirmations about different goals, changes and desires, it also confuses the subconscious. If you have 5 affirmations about weight loss, 5 around money and 10 on manifesting a relationship, it’s difficult to raise your vibrational energy in all those areas. 

Therefore, select one specific desire or manifestation, write 12 powerful affirmations linking to that goal, and say it multiple times every day. For example, You want to manifest wealth and abundance 

  1. I am rich beyond measure
  2. I live a life of abundance and freedom
  3. My mind is open to more wealth, prosperity and opportunity
  4. The universe wants me to be wealthy and prosperous
  5. My cup overflows with money
  6. I am surrounded by an abundance of love, joy and prosperity
  7. Everything I touch turns to gold
  8. I attract wealth and success into my life effortlessly
  9. I am a money magnet
  10. I live in a state of constant abundance
  11. I am grateful for everything I have and everything I will receive
  12. I attract wealth and success into my life effortlessly

Say, write or listen to these 12 money affirmations every day until you attract the money you desire. The more you use these affirmations, the faster your subconscious will believe it’s possible. Once your subconscious thinks and believes you can attract your desire, the subconscious creates ideas and attracts opportunities to make the money a reality.

How to Use Your Affirmations Every Day

 If you’re finding it difficult to remember to say your affirmations every day, you can do a few things to make it easier:

  1. Write them down and put them somewhere you will see them often, like on your bathroom mirror or on your fridge.
  2. Set a reminder on your phone or in your calendar.
  3. Tell a friend or family member about your affirmations and ask them to remind you to say them every day.

By following these tips and committing to saying your affirmations every day, you will start to see changes in your life in no time. 

Likewise, listening to your affirmations is a great way to influence the subconscious mind, and it’s extremely easy to do. You can listen anywhere and at any time, and it’s an opportunity multiple times every day to remind your subconscious about your manifestation goal. My favourite times to listen to affirmations are;

Handwriting your affirmations at least once a day is also recommended because the action of writing takes longer than listening or speaking, and the subconscious will focus on the action. I use an affirmation journal to save my affirmations (link here to the exact one I use). Overtime it’s fantastic to re-view your achievement, and having a journal allows this. If you don’t use a journal, a piece of paper will work fine.

Can You Use Multiple Affirmations in the Same Day?

If you want to use multiple affirmations on the same day, there is no harm. In fact, it may even be beneficial as it will give you more opportunities to ingrain the affirmations into your subconscious mind. Just make sure that the affirmations you choose are related to each other and support one another.

For example, you could choose an affirmation about manifesting abundance in your life, and another about being grateful for what you have. By repeating these affirmations throughout the day, you will start to see positive changes in your life in no time. 

How Many Affirmations Is Too Many?

There is no “correct” number of affirmations to use in a day, as everyone is different. However, if you find yourself repeating the same affirmations over and over again for hours on end, it might be time to take a break. Remember, the key is to repeat the affirmations often enough that you start to believe them, but not so often that it becomes tedious or overwhelming.

So, how many affirmations should you use in a day? The answer is: as many as you need to in order to create the mindset shift or manifest your desire. Just make sure to space them out throughout the day so you have time to focus on each one, and be sure to choose affirmations that support one another. With a little trial and error, you’ll find the perfect number of affirmations for you!
