What Volume Should I Listen To Subliminal Audio (Best Volume)

Selecting the correct volume to listen to your subliminal audio is necessary for your subliminal recordings to work effectively. You don’t want the volume too high because it could distract your subconscious from the reprogramming you need.

But having your volume too low might mean your subconscious never picks up on the positive affirmations playing below the subliminal audio. Therefore what is the perfect volume to play your subliminals?

The best volume to listen to subliminal audio is a low comfortable setting of between 10-30% of your volume control. The volume can be lowered if you use headphones or ear buds. For speakers you might need to increase the volume to 40-50% of the volume settings.

What is the Best Subliminal Messaging Audio Volume?

One of the most common mistakes about subliminal messages is that people believe subliminal programs are created using changing the volume. In fact, for subliminal affirmations to become subliminal audio, you need to adjust the frequency down to a subliminal level. It isn’t a subliminal program if you just turn down the volume to where you can’t hear the positive statements.

For a set of positive affirmations to become subliminal recording, the frequency must be dropped from 44500hz, which is normal hearing, down to 17500hz (subliminal frequency). At this rate, your affirmations are played at a subliminal level where only your subconscious mind can hear the words and affirmations. It’s in your subconscious where the transformation actually occurs.

Therefore, it doesn’t really matter what volume your subliminal audio recording is playing at. If you are going to use your subliminal during sleep (which I highly recommend, find out why here), you want the volume to be low enough just to hear the background music.

This way, you’re more likely to fall asleep because you are not distracted. But if you’re doing another task like exercising, then the track can be at a louder volume.

Comfortable Volume for Subliminal Programs

To get the best results out of your subliminal program, I suggest using it at a lower volume that is comfortable for you. If you are using it while falling asleep, make sure the volume is low enough that you can still hear the background music or sound. Typically this is around 10-30% of your volume setting.

If you use your subliminal audio during the day or in busy environments, you want to make the volume a little louder. I would recommend anywhere from 50-60% of your volume setting. This way you can still hear the affirmations but they don’t become distracting.

It is also important that you use high-quality headphones or speakers when listening to your subliminal audio. You don’t need to increase the volume as loud if you using headphones/earphones (which I recommend).

If you use speakers then you might need to use a higher volume especially if you are driving or doing exercise.

Ultimately if you can hear the music or background sound of your subliminal program then your subconscious can hear the positive affirmations at the subliminal level. One other thing to take note of is fake subliminals. (here’s my full guide to avoiding fake subliminal programs)

Not Sure If Your Program Is At a Subliminal Level?

If you are not sure your subliminal audio is recorded at the correct frequency, then it’s best to inspect the details of the subliminal program before your purchase. Unfortunately, most of us use YouTube to listen to our subliminals because there are millions to choose from. But it’s very difficult to tell if they are at the subliminal level.

So, the best solution is to create your own subliminals (here’s a completely free step-by-step guide)Personalised subliminals are 10 times better than a subliminal made by someone else:

  1. You are creating affirmations specific to your exact goals and desires.
  2. Your voice is recording those positive statements, and your subconscious is more likely to respond to your voice than a stranger’s.
  3. You can personalise it with music, sounds and binaural beats for your liking. (Rain, Thunderstorms, Ocean Waves, and Meditation Music are the most popular)
  4. Very easy to make and doesn’t need 3rd party subliminal makers
  5. You can create playlists with different a subliminal audio track

What Volume Should I Listen to Subliminals With Headphones

If you’re going to use headphones, inner ear buds or a sleep mask to listen to your subliminal tape, then the volume needs to be at the lowest unless volume you’re using binaural beats within your subliminal track. For binaural beats to be effective, you need to hear the pulsing tones of the beat. If your volume is too low and you can’t hear the binaural tone, it won’t work.

Binaural beats are a tremendous background sound to have because they help activate your unconscious mind, and it holds you in the reprogramming frequency for longer, making your subliminal suggestions work faster(more tips on making your subliminals work faster here).

Meaning if you can combine your audio subliminal recording with binaural beats at a theta frequency, it will supercharge your unconscious mind for positive change and give you better results.

Nonetheless, if you’re not using binaural beats with your subliminal track, it doesn’t matter what volume you have in your headphones. But again, it’s essential for them to be very low volumes and quiet if you’re relaxing or sleeping.

However, if you are listening throughout the day in noisy places, it’s best to turn up the volume to 30-50% so you can hear the music and your subconscious mind can pick up on the subliminal messages.

What Volume Should I Listen to Subliminals Without Headphones

Not everyone wants to use headphones or inner ear buds with their subliminal recording. You can use alternatives like speakers, mobile phone external speakers, TV, Laptops or other devices. The volume needs to be a lot higher than the headphone’s settings.

If your speaker or device is far away from you, the volume must be louder. The human ear works differently for everyone so find your own distance to place your speaker.

You really need to hear the music or background sounds from across the room, but it’s not like listening to traditional music. It still needs to be low and relaxing.

The subliminal that play beneath your music is what’s important. Thus, if you can hear the music clearly, your subconscious mind will pick up on the subliminal messages below. For the best subliminal results place your speaker 1 or 2 meters away.

Unfortunately, you cant listen to binaural beats without headphones, so if your track contains these frequencies, it’s headphones, earphones or earbuds. The binaural frequency isn’t picked up properly without headphones because they play different tones in each ear.

However, consider isochronic tones if you want to benefit from the theta frequencies that binaural beats produce without headphones.

What Volume Should You Listen to Subliminal Audio Summary

Ultimately, It doesn’t really matter what volume you play your subliminal audio because your subconscious mind will pick up on the subliminal messages as long as the subliminal program is created at a subliminal frequency.

Consider lower volumes when you’re sleeping, meditating or relaxing and higher volume during the day when you’re busy with other tasks. A comfortable volume will give you the best subliminal results and selecting the most powerful positive affirmations is critical for the unconscious mind to be reprogrammed.

I always recommend people create their own voice recording audio program or purchase subliminal audio programs from people they trust because it’s very difficult to notice a fake subliminal that will never work.

Youtube has the biggest library of subliminal recordings but also has the largest number of fake subliminals. Finally, the best way to listen to subliminal audio is via headphones or inner ear buds at lower volumes as it gives you the clearest audio and your silent subliminal affirmation will be picked up better.
